Dear Old Home Book

Open the door to Dear Old Home – Nordic Houses with Charm, a visual love letter to Finnish interiors where the past and present live side by side. Photographer and stylist Frida Steiner visits a rose-hued countryside log house, a loft by the sea, an Art Nouveau villa, a former school, a courtyard storehouse, and even a world-heritage site. In each home, timeworn textures and original details are thoughtfully preserved, while the essentials are updated to today’s standards. The result is a delicate, layered mood shaped by the owners’ personal touches—inviting, authentic, and distinctly Nordic. Ideal for anyone seeking inspiration to honor an older home while embracing modern life.
