This 3″ x 27′ ratchet strap in yellow is built for everyday cargo securement, pairing tough polyester webbing with a ratchet mechanism that lets you dial in exactly the right amount of tension by hand. It’s fitted with a wide flat hook that distributes tension across rub rails and trailer edges. Sold as a 6-pack.
Key Features
- Heavyweight polyester webbing woven with more picks per inch than typical straps on the market, for a webbing that resists abrasion, tearing, and cutting
- Cleanly heat-sealed ends that stop fraying before it starts, extending the working life of the strap
- Built-in defender at the hook to reduce webbing wear at the point of contact
- Corrosion-resistant zinc-plated hardware built for outdoor and roadside use
- Tagged and stenciled with break strength and working load limit information to support compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American cargo securement standards
Applications
- Flatbed and open-trailer freight hauling
- Moving and general hauling with pickup trucks and trailers
- Everyday towing and utility trailer use
- Landscaping, construction, and job-site equipment transport
Installation
Wrap the fixed end around the anchor point and feed the free end through the ratchet mandrel, pulling out slack by hand before ratcheting. Tighten in small increments until the load is secure, then close and lock the ratchet handle. Confirm hooks are properly seated on rated anchor points, stay within the strap’s working load limit, and re-check tension after the first few miles.
